Facial massage

(1) Remove glasses, earrings, rings and other items that may obstruct the massage.

(2) Stand or sit upright and relax.

(3) Rub your hands together to warm them up, then place them firmly on your forehead with your fingers pointing upwards; rub along your eyes, cheeks, and down to your jawline, repeating 36 times.

(4) Use your thumb, middle finger, and index finger to push upwards along the mandible to the earlobe, repeating 36 times.

(3) Repeat the above actions with the left hand after switching hands.

(4) Repeat 10 to 20 times, alternating between left and right sides.

Massage neck

(1) Remove rings, necklaces, and other items that may obstruct the massage.

(2) Tie your hair up to expose your neck. Keep your upper body upright, head slightly lowered, and in a relaxed posture.

(3) Place the middle and index fingers of one hand on the Fengchi acupoint on the same side (between the sternocleidomastoid and trapezius muscles, on both sides of the back of the neck), and push and pull forcefully, 36 times back and forth. Switch hands and place them on the Fengchi acupoint on the other side, and repeat the action 36 times.

(4) Pinch the skin on the neck and then release it, repeat 36 times.

(5) Use four fingers to massage the neck in a circular motion to relieve discomfort after the massage. Then perform neck flexion and extension, rotating left and right 10 times each to achieve relaxation.

Massage arms

(1) For inner arm fat: Bend one arm upwards and grasp the lower part of the upper arm with the other hand; gently pinch the lower part of the arm with your fingertips, from the joint to the armpit; repeat the action 10-20 times and then switch hands. Bend one arm upwards and grasp the arm joint with the other hand; massage upwards along the joint to the armpit with your palm with a little force; repeat the action 10-20 times.

(2) For excess fat on the outer side of the arms: Slightly bend one arm and gently pinch the entire upper arm with the fingertips of the other hand, repeating the action 10-20 times. Slightly bend the arm and massage upwards from the joint with the palm of the hand; repeat the action 10-20 times.

Leg massage

(1) Relax your whole body and stand barefoot.

(2) Grasp the front of your thighs with both hands and rub downwards forcefully, past the knees to the ankles; then reverse to the back of the calves and rub upwards back to the back of the thighs. Repeat this 36 times. Then switch legs and rub 36 times.

(3) Make fists with both hands and tap the inner and outer sides of the thighs from top to bottom, down to the ankles, then back up to the groin. Repeat this tapping motion 36 times. Then switch legs and tap 36 times.

(4) Place your hands with the tiger's mouth facing each other on both sides of your thighs, grasp your thighs, and rub downwards and left and right until you reach your ankles, then rub upwards back to the thigh roots. Repeat this rubbing motion 36 times. Then switch legs and rub 36 times.

(4) With fingers together and knuckles slightly bent, pat from the shoulder to the wrist to complete one repetition. Do 36 repetitions on each side, paying attention to applying even force and maintaining a rhythm.

(5) Use the heel or palm of your hand to massage your shoulder all the way to your wrist as one round, do one round on each side.

(6) Stand up and rotate both arms in circles quickly until your arms feel sore.

The limbs are primarily massaged using techniques such as pushing, grasping, and pressing. The upper limbs are massaged primarily using techniques like grasping, rubbing, and patting, while the lower limbs are massaged primarily using techniques like pushing, pressing, patting, and rubbing. In areas with more fat accumulation, the pressure can be increased appropriately, massaging from top to bottom, from the surface to the interior, along the muscle lines.

Abdominal massage

One effective way to eliminate a "big belly" is abdominal massage for weight loss. As we know, there are very few blood vessels between fat tissue cells. Frequent massage can promote capillary regeneration, eliminate water from fat, and accelerate the liquefaction and utilization of fat tissue. The techniques mainly involve pushing, grasping, and pressing. It is applicable to many diseases of the digestive, nervous, and urinary/reproductive systems, and can also be used to eliminate abdominal fat and improve overall health. It has the advantages of being simple to learn, comfortable, and fast-acting.

Abdominal massage mainly uses techniques such as rubbing, pressing, kneading, grasping, joining, separating, light patting, and pricking. Each session can last about 10 minutes to promote intestinal peristalsis and abdominal muscle contraction, causing some fat to be converted into energy and consumed. Regular massage can reduce fat accumulation. Abdominal massage techniques for weight loss include the two-finger overlapping method: overlapping both thumbs, applying pressure lightly enough to feel a pulse but not pain. The wave-like pushing and pressing method: with fingers together and naturally straight, place the left palm on the back of the right fingers, and the right palm flat against the abdomen, pushing forward with force, then pressing backward with the left palm. This push-and-pull motion, moving slowly from top to bottom, resembles waves in water.

Foot acupressure massage for weight loss

According to traditional Chinese medicine, there are more than 300 acupoints in the human body. If these acupoints are stimulated properly, excess water and waste accumulated in the body can be expelled, eliminating swelling in the feet and making the body slimmer.

First, try massaging your feet. Areas that are painful tend to accumulate moisture, so don't be afraid of the pain; focus your massage on these areas. Additionally, bathing is an effective way to boost metabolism. Soaking your feet in hot water and swinging them back and forth 20 times can help tighten muscles.

Foot Salt Massage Slimming Method

Salt grains can stimulate acupoints for weight loss. Gently massaging coarse-grained slimming salt onto the feet and calves can aid in weight loss. For sensitive skin, add baby oil, honey, or egg white to reduce irritation.

Note: Table salt and refined salt will not achieve the desired effect. Also, if redness and swelling occur after massage, it indicates skin sensitivity to salt; discontinue use immediately.

Full body massage

Before a massage, it is best to take a warm bath and apply some water or moisturizer to reduce friction and avoid skin damage.

(1) Rub and stroke the skin. Use both palms or a loofah to sweep from the ankles upwards to the thighs, and then continue upwards, rubbing the buttocks with one hand and the abdomen with the other. Do the left side first, then the right side.

(2) Lifting and kneading method. Use your thumb and other four fingers to grasp and lift the muscles, kneading them like dough, from the ankle upwards to the hips and waist. You can alternate between left and right, or use both hands simultaneously on both sides. Finally, knead the abdomen with both hands.

(3) Patting Method. With fingers together and the back of the hand slightly arched to form a concave shape, pat the entire body with moderate force and rhythm. The sequence is from bottom to top. Avoid slapping the body solidly with the palm. When patting with a concave palm, a hollow is formed when the palm contacts the skin, producing a low-pitched sound that increases vibration without causing pain. Patting can strengthen muscles and improve skin elasticity.

Whether rubbing, kneading, or patting, these methods can stimulate nerve endings, promote blood circulation, and break down fat. When rubbing, kneading, or patting, be careful to use moderate force and avoid excessive force to prevent rupture of subcutaneous capillaries or abrasion of the skin surface.

While massage can be helpful for weight loss, massage alone will not produce significant results. Weight loss through massage should be combined with a diet and exercise.
